The Mandala – The Universe Behind The Deity

Some mandir’s have a backdrop. This one has a cosmos.

The Mandala is a full celestial circle – an expanding galaxy of flowers and vines, hand-inlaid in rare abalone Mother of Pearl. Abalone is not white MOP. It is rainbow – pink, green, gold, blue – shifting as light moves. Like the universe itself, it never looks the same twice.

At its center, a lotus. Around it, a ring of Parijat-like flowers, floating outward, as if the mandir itself is blooming behind Lord Ganesha.

The architecture is temple-authentic: hand-carved Swiss white marble pillars, stepped sinhasan, and a top fascia crown in intricate floral jaali inlay, also in abalone MOP.

This is not a typical home mandir. This is a home that became a temple.
